How to differentiate between (1) Custom Content (created by players), (2) Official Content (appearing on the FFG website), and (3) Rules questions and the like? Could we arrange this with some convention for the names of the pages? Furthermore: at this moment the Category:Investigator is a redirect to the Custom type, but then what about the other two? Maybe Categories should remain Categories, and have links to all three types, as well as having an alphabetical listing after that... The King in Green 16:46, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I have to agree, I wouldn't mind a standard to adhere to... I created a template for the investigators pages, but a little direction from management would be appreciated. Should I have the custom redirect to the Category? Should there be a background notation if something is official? Thank you for assistance. kdevine 13:03, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

I would like to propose the following scheme:

  1. Investigators (Custom)
  2. Investigators (Official)
  3. Investigators (Rules)

And the Category-page should be a regular Category:Investigators page. First there should appear the links to the three pages I mentioned here, and then the investigators, alphabetically. The same should apply to all other entities... Another point: Should we use singular or plural for regular pages? Or should we add, to the three types mentioned above, also the page

  1. Investigator

to generally describe the type of entity/card we are dealing with? E.g.: Investigator: A character roaming the streets of Arkham and the other worlds to prevent the Ancient One from waking up. Some Investigators are mentally stronger, others physically [...] etc. etc. The King in Green 17:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Proposal to change scope Edit

I am planning on creating a wiki in the style of [www.arkhamhorrorwiki.com/ the independent Arkham Horror Wiki], but covering all of the FFG Call of Cthulhu material. This wiki seems like it would be the best name for it, although I am amenable to trying to start "Call of Cthulhu FFG Wiki" instead (cthulhuffg.wikia.com, I would think). However, since this wiki appears to have once upon a time been created to house fan-characters for the CoC FFG games, I wanted to make sure whether any remaining editors were averse to this proposal before going forward. If accepted, the existing fancreated material would be retained in a new "Fan:" namespace, so I would not be burning it from the wiki.

Please let me know if anyone here has any reservations, I plan to start editing this wiki in line with this proposal next week.{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 17:20, February 2, 2015 (UTC)

Actually, I've been informed that "Arkham Horror Files" is the official name for the franchise, so I'll use that instead. Thanks anyway!{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 01:58, March 6, 2015 (UTC)
